Rise and shine for Day 4 of our epic 5-day tour! After fueling up with a hearty breakfast in Vicksburg, MS, we'll embark on a day brimming with history and heroism. Our first stop is the National Military Park, where valor and sacrifice come alive among the storied battlefields. Next, we'll pay our respects at the National Cemetery, a solemn reminder of the courage that shaped our nation.
But our journey through time doesn't end there. We'll delve into the gripping narratives of the past at the Civil War Museum, bringing the stories of blue and gray to vivid life. Afterward, stroll through the charming streets of Historic Downtown, where the echoes of the 19th century meet the warm buzz of modern life.
As the sun begins to set, we'll gather for a delightful dinner, sharing stories of the day's adventures. Then, it's off to Memphis, TN, where our pre-arranged hotel awaits to cradle us in comfort, preparing us for the final day of our memorable journey. As dawn breaks on the fifth and final day of our tour, Memphis TN awakens your senses with the promise of an unforgettable finale. Post-breakfast, we'll begin at the iconic Bass Pro Shop Pyramid, an adventure in itself with its impressive architecture and vast array of outdoor gear. Next, we'll soak in the rhythms and soul of Beale Street, the birthplace of the blues, pulsating with music history and vibrant culture.
The crescendo of our day is a self-guided tour of Graceland, the hallowed home of the King of Rock 'n' Roll himself. Wander through Elvis's lavish abode, each room echoing with stories of stardom and private life.
With hearts full of tunes and memories, we'll then ensure you're comfortably on your way to the Memphis Airport, ready to return to where our journey together began. What a ride it's been, through the heart of Dixie itself with its musical soul and a tapestry of rich history!.
This tour through the heart of dixie is all inclusive (with the exception of lunch and souvenirs). Your airfare from the following major airports is inlcuded: New York, Miami, DC, Seatle, Los Angeles, Vegas, Denver, and Dallas. Hotels costs are inlcuded (please see our inclusions page for more details) and are at a minimum 3 star rating. Breakfast and dinner are also included along with complementary snacks and drinks during the day.
